Prosecutor: Jersey Shore Pair Supplied Heroin/Fentanyl In 16-Year-Old Boy's OD Death
A Jersey Shore couple was jailed in connection with an overdose heroin/fentanyl death of a 16-year-old boy last month, authorities said. David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, have been charged with strict liability, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug related charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins said. Somerset County Woman Busted In Newark Graffiti Incident
Three people are facing charges after being caught spray painting a mural and words onto traffic boxes in Newark, authorities said. Police saw Alexa Lipke, 25, of Green Brook, writing graffiti on traffic light boxes at Broad and Franklin streets near City Hall on June 28, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. She was arrested on graffiti and drug-related charges. Then, on July 5, officers saw Jayrone Rivera, 25, of Bergenfield, and Brendan Roura, 29, of Brooklyn, spray paining a mural at McCarter Highway and Hamilton Street, Amrbose said. Haworth PD: Drugged Closter Driver Tosses Heroin Bags Out Car Window
A Closter driver tossed several bags of heroin out of his car as a Haworth police officer pulled him over, authorities said. Officer Andrew Soltes was stopping Nick Linaris, 42, on Haworth Avenue around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday when he saw the 10 folds of heroin come flying out the window, Detective Sgt. Justin Fox said. Soltes found Linaris carrying Xanax, some loose heroin and drug paraphernalia, Fox said. Linaris, who Fox said admitted being under the influence of heroin, was taken into custody and sent to the Bergen County Jail on various drug-related charges, as well as evidence tampering. …
