Man Killed After Cars Strikes Trailer At Home Depot In Central Jersey
A 55-year-old man from Middlesex County was killed when his car collided with a trailer parked at Home Depot, authorities said. On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at about 10:20 a.m., Old Bridge police responded to the Home Depot located on Route 9 South following a report of a crash. Police found a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu which had collided with a parked trailer. The Chevy Malibu was driven by Allen Szcus, of Kendall Park, police said. Couple Killed In Parkway Crash With Snowplow
A man and woman from Lakewood were killed after crashing into a snowplow truck on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County, authorities said. State police said an SUV driven by 29-year-old Eliyahu Naydavoud was heading north on the parkway in Tinton Falls around 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15. A snowplow truck was also traveling north and tried to turn into an emergency vehicle U-turn area near mile marker 104.2. Naydavoud's SUV crashed into the side of the snowplow. A Route 22 driver was hospitalized after striking a pole off the highway during the evening on Sunday, July 9, responders said. The driver slammed into a pole on the eastbound side just after 8:10 p.m., the Finderne Fire Department said. A motorist was hospitalized after a crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. New Jersey State Police were called at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 to milepost 74.8 in Lacey Township on a report of an overturned vehicle. A preliminary investigation found that the driver was traveling south on the Parkway, lost control of the vehicle and ran off the highway to the right, down an embankment and overturned, State Police said. A driver was taken to a nearby hospital after a Honda rear-ended a Toyota and flipped on Route 287 on Wednesday, Sept. 21, state police confirmed. Two people were hospitalized following a head-on crash in Morris County, authorities said. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to the crash with EMS and Rescue 1 and 2 in Long Valley during the afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Long Valley Fire Company No. 1 tended to a fluid spill while EMS crew members treated two patients at the scene and transported them to nearby hospitals, the squad said.
