Road Rage Driver Who Ran Down Victim In PA McDonald's ID'd As NJ Man: Authorities
Over a month after 47-year-old Jason Smith of Levittown was run over and killed in the parking lot of a Bristol McDonald's, authorities say they found the driver responsible.
Daniel S. Dietrich, 45, of Palmyra, New Jersey, was arrested Friday, March 10, and charged with homicide, driving on a suspended license, and related counts, said Bucks District Attorney Matthew Weintraub.
Prosecutors say Smith and Dietrich had already been involved in a "driving incident" about a mile away before they both arrived at the 7700 Bristol Pike McDonald's at 4 p.m. on Feb. 5.

One suspect was arrested and three remain at large after altering checks that were stolen from PO boxes and making more than $30,000 worth of fraudulent deposits, Flemington police said.
The investigation began on Saturday, June 11, when officers responded to a Flemington business to take a report of fraudulent checks, the department said in a release on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Surveillance camera footage and police body cams helped identify a suspect in a recent fatal shooting in Trenton, authorities said.
The 24-year-old fugitive was caught on Friday by U.S. Marshals in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
Dion Duncan was charged with first-degree murder and weapons charges in connection with the death of Ramire Harvey, 25, of Trenton, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Onofri said.

A Bucks County, PA man wanted for assault out of Burlington County, NJ was arrested on accusations he attacked police during the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, leaving one with a concussion, federal prosecutors said.
Ryan Stephen Samsel, 37, of Bristol has been charged with assaulting a federal officer, obstructing law enforcement, and obstructing a legal proceeding, according to federal court documents unsealed Monday.
Footage from the riots captured Samsel -- who traveled to Washington D.C from Bristol Borough -- apparently leading a group of rioters toward the Capitol, documents say.
