DOG Attack: Five Children, Two Adults Hurt In Unruly Atlantic City Incident Five children and two adults were wounded when their two dogs encountered another on a walk and turned on them in Atlantic City, authorities said. Two of the juveniles were walking their dogs in a fenced-in area of Baltic Avenue when the animals encountered the third dog around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, local police said. K-9 Dog, Police Officer Struck By Fleeing Stolen Car In Atlantic City An Atlantic City Police officer and his K9 partner were struck by a driver fleeing a motor vehicle stop in a stolen car, authorities said.  At 9:03 p.m. Tuesday, Detectives Christopher Dodson, Alberto Valles, and Eric Evans spotted a Ford Fusion that had been previously reported stolen, police said. The same vehicle had fled an attempted motor vehicle stop by an Atlantic City police officer earlier in the day and was not located. Teenager Arrested With Loaded Handgun, Atlantic City Police Say An 18-year-old man from Atlantic County has been arrested for possessing a loaded handgun, authorities said. At 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Atlantic City police were patrolling near Stanley Homes Village on reports of recent shootings, according to Lt. Kevin Fair, a police department spokesman. Detectives Alberto Valles, Christopher Dodson and Darrin Lorady stopped a vehicle after watching a young passenger enter it. Officers suspected that the man was carrying a handgun, Fair said.
