Teens Arrested After Fights Break Out At $4 Movie Night At Monmouth Mall Two juveniles were arrested after fights broke out at AMC Theater In Eatontown, authorities said. Police responded to multiple fights at the Monmouth Mall on Sunday night, Aug. 27, according to Lt. Edward Nelson, an Eatontown police spokesman.. The theatres drew a -large crowd because it was $4 ticket night, he said. Two juveniles were arrested, ages 14 and 15. They were arrested for defiant trespass at the AMC theater "after being told to leave several times and not doing so," Nelson said. Mutual aid from other towns had to be called to get the crowd under control.

Shots Fired Outside Linden Movie Theater A gunman fired shots at a Linden shopping center Monday, Oct. 10, local police said. Photos from the scene show police had taped off the area around the AMC Theater in the Aviation Shopping Plaza sometime after 4:15 p.m. Responding officers found multiple casings in the area. No injuries have been reported. This incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau, and anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Daniel Hemenway at (908) 474-8532.
