Seen HIM? Somerset County Man Wanted On 5 Counts Of Attempted Murder: Prosecutor

Seen him? Authorities in Somerset County are seeking the public’s help tracking down their ‘Fugitive of the Month,’ a 32-year-old East Brunswick man charged with five counts of attempted murder and other offenses.

Cristobal Avila, 32, was charged with five counts of first-degree attempted murder and various weapons offenses following a North Plainfield incident from Sunday, April 11, 2021, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s office said in a Thursday, Sept. 7 release.

Avila’s last known address was near N. Plainfield & East Brunswick, investigators say. He has brown hair and eyes and stands 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 170 pounds.

Avila also has tattoos on his face, neck, left arm, and right hand, according to investigators.
