Update: NJ Attorney General IDs Cyclist, 56, Veteran Trooper Who Struck And Killed Him A bicyclist who was struck and killed last week by a New Jersey State Police car driven by a department veteran with a deep history of social work was identified by authorities as 59-year-old Raul L. Diaz of Long Valley. Diaz was struck on Willow Grove Street (Route 604) outside the Hackettstown Senior Housing Development off Brook Hollow Drive in Warren County an hour before sunrise on Monday, Feb. 5. NJSP Sgt. The bicycle was seen on its side on the road's shoulder behind the unmarked black Ford Explorer that hit it on Willow Grove Street (Route 604) outside the Hackettstown Senior Housing Development off Brook Hollow Drive an hour before sunrise on Monday, Feb. 5. Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hospitalizes NJ Woman: Police A 71-year-old woman from Hackettstown was hospitalized after getting exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide, authorities said. On Sunday, Dec. 3, at approximately 6:20 p.m., the Hackettstown police responded to a residence on the 100 block of Willow Grove Street for a welfare check.  The woman told police she was not feeling well. The Hackettstown Fire Department was requested to check for possible readings of carbon monoxide.  The fire department detected high levels of carbon monoxide throughout the house, police said. At 7:03 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of Willow Grove Street to a report of a teen bicyclist struck by a deer, officers said.  Police determined the deer ran into the roadway and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound, officers said. At least three suspects were involved in burglaries on Willow Grove Street in Hackettstown between 5 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, Hackettstown Police said Wednesday. The keyset was stolen from the Hackettstown Medical Center Annex building, and an unknown amount of cash was taken from the Randolph Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery about 40 minutes later, according to police.
