A police officer whose cruiser was t-boned by a tractor-trailer just north of the New Jersey state line was in stable condition, her department said, as authorities sought witnesses to the horrific crash. Warwick Police Officer Jordan Tetreault was headed southwest on Route 94 when her 2019 Ford Explorer was rammed by the rig coming northwest off Warwick Turnpike at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, New York State Police said. Cresskill Crash Ignites House Fire
A chain-reaction ignited by a crash left a Cresskill home damaged by fire. The driver escaped serious injury after his box truck from Woodland Park struck a tree on Madison Avenue off the corner of 8th Street shortly after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12. Branches then hit wires that energized the garage area of a nearby home. Cresskill firefighters got there quickly and had the blaze under control within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.

Box Truck Spins, Lands On Route 287 At State Line
A box truck ended up on the median on Route 287, clogging post-Labor Day traffic at the state line, authorities said. No injuries were reported in the mishap in Mahwah shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. Three men were in the truck, which apparently was carrying exercise equipment for a Brooklyn-based freight company when it spun around in the rain and hit the divider. A 45-year-old Philadelphia Freightliner driver was killed when his vehicle veered off Route 78 in Newark, NJ and struck more tractor trailers after crossing several highway lanes causing a fiery crash early Saturday, July 16, authorities said. Driver Hospitalized As Dump Truck Carrying Stone Flips In Warren County: State Police
A dump truck driver was hospitalized following a crash in Warren County, state police confirmed. The truck was carrying stone on Foul Rift Road in White Township when it overturned near the intersection at South Foul Rift Road shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday, June 13, NJSP Tpr. II Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. A medical helicopter was also placed on standby, according to initial reports. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Numerous emergency crews rushed to the scene of a truck that slammed into a home in Warren County. The Oxford Emergency Squad responded to the crash at a home in Oxford shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, the department said. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash, according to South Branch Emergency Services, Inc., which also responded. Details Released In Deadly Route 78 Dump Truck Crash That Killed Driver, 47
A 47-year-old Guttenberg man died in a dump truck crash Monday on Route 78, New Jersey State Police said. John Morales was heading west when his truck suffered tire failure around 2:30 p.m. near mile post 43.4 in Berkley Heights, NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The truck crossed the roadway to the left, struck a guardrail and overturned, Goez said. The truck went through the center median and ultimately overturned down an embankment. Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles or victims were involved.

Traffic crawled along the eastbound side of Route 80 late Tuesday morning -- hours after a two-truck crash that spilled fuel and debris across the highway in Parsippany.
