Chain-Reaction Ridgewood Crash Sends 3 To Hospital
A chain-reaction crash Monday afternoon in Ridgewood sent three people to the hospital. A fourth occupant refused medical attention following the crash shortly before 1:30 p.m. at Linwood and North Maple avenues. Village police, firefighters, EMS and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood all responded. Two tow trucks removed the wreckage. A Paramus man was caught taking “upskirt” photos of high school girls at a Route 17 Starbucks, Ridgewood police said. Detectives and uniformed officers rushed to the business on Friday following reports that someone had been taking the photos of Immaculate Heart Academy students at the shop the day before. A ‘Rarity’: Poisonous Copperhead Snake Found In Montclair

Englewood detectives charged a local man with robbing a Hackensack couple who came to town to sell an iPhone through the “Letgo” buy/sell app. Sincere Degroat, 19, was carrying an iPhone stolen during one of the robberies when Detective Sgt. Ridgewood Police Snare Troubled Teen In Threats
Ridgewood police detained an emotionally troubled teen Thursday afternoon after they said he threatened a local Starbucks. The call came in around 2 p.m. for someone in the 100 block of East Ridgewood Avenue who was threatening himself and others. He was found and brought to police headquarters roughly a half-hour later.
