'That's Him': Man Shot 10 Times In Jersey City Alleyway, Report Says
"That's him" were apparently the words that echoed around Forrest Street in Jersey City moments before a man was shot 10 times in an alleyway. Witnesses heard after a group of people sprung out of a BMW — possibly stolen – and chased the victim into the alley between MLK Drive and Bergen Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, NJ Advance Media says citing police radio transmissions. Nearly 50 Canada geese were hauled off in a truck and killed by a wildlife management company on the Jersey Shore to control the population, according to reports and wildlife officials. A woman jailed three times at the Salem County Correctional Facility is the latest person to alleged she was strip searched illegally multiple times at the jail, NJ Advance Media says citing a lawsuit. Bird Flu Kills Backyard Flock In NJ
The first case of bird flu killed a backyard flock on the Jersey Shore, NJ Advance Media said. At least 10 ducks have died and an undisclosed number of chickens got sick as a result of the avian influenza outbreak in Monmouth County, the outlet said.
