A tree worker was killed after coming in contact with a power line in Morris County on the afternoon of Thursday, April 4, police said. The worker was at 95 Taylortown Road in Montville when he came in contact with the line around 3:50 p.m., Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said. The rider lost control of his Suzuki 750 near Route 629 just off Route 22 in Clinton Township around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, Clinton Township Police Sgt. Harry P. Bugal Jr. said in a release. Union Police Officers Save Baby Who’d Stopped Breathing
Two police officers in Union rushed into action to perform CPR on a nine-month-old, saving the infant’s life, Capt. Scott Breslow said in a statement. Officers Stephen Viaud and Gaetano D’Allesandro arrived at the Bertha Avenue home within two minutes after the 9-1-1 call in around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
