Montvale's Justin Wilson Dies: 'He Was So Filled With Joy'
Much of Justin Wilson's life was filled with tragedy — but you'd never know it.
The 39-year-old Montvale native lost his dad, Michael Murphy, in 2010, when he was shot in the back of his head by his business partner. Eight years later, Justin was diagnosed with cancer.
Still, Justin Wilson was rarely without a smile, loved ones say. He died peacefully on Valentine's Day 2023, surrounded by family.
"Justin truly had a love for life, he was so filled with joy," reads his obituary. "Justin was best known for his infectious laughter, excellent head of hair and his love of music."

ICE Looks To Deport Stolen Car Passenger, 22, After Montvale Pursuit, Elmwood Park Crash
A stolen vehicle pursuit that began in Montvale ended in a crash and the arrests of two occupants at a Garden State Parkway exit ramp in Elmwood Park.
Police began pursuing the Range Rover, which had been reported stolen out of Saddle River, on Chestnut Ridge Road around 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, Montvale Police Chief Doug McDowell said.
The vehicle crashed at Exit 157 onto Route 46 off the southbound Parkway 15 or so minutes later.
The driver, Raidis A. Santos Tejada, 19, of Newark was trapped in the car and taken at gunpoint, Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

UPDATE: New Jersey State Police have arrested a Rockland County man who they said was responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 77-year-old motorist on the Garden State Parkway a year and a half ago.
Christopher Forrest, 26, was charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash resulting in the death of Dutchess County, NY, resident Howard Perlman on June 17, 2021, according to records obtained by Daily Voice.
