Authorities ID Body Of Drowned Paddle Boarder, 24, Recovered From Mahwah Lake A drowned paddle boarder whose body was recovered from a Mahwah lake Tuesday has been identified as a 24-year-old local resident. Mario Morales had lost his grip and fell into Dators Pond at the foot of Stag Hill Road early Thursday evening, New Jersey Police Trooper Charles Marchan confirmed. His body was found in 15 feet of water shortly before 3 p.m.  Morales' older brother then paddled to shore shouting for someone to call 911, Mayor Jim Wysocki said.
