Off-Duty Trooper Finds 'Human Remains' On I-287 In Middlesex County An off-duty New Jersey state trooper found human remains while driving on I-287 in Middlesex County, authorities said. The discovery was made near Exit 8 in Piscataway on the southbound side of the highway around 3:25 p.m., state police told NJ.com. It is not clear exactly what the trooper found. Pequannock police tried pulling over Derek Schor on Route 23 after he stole cigarettes from an Exxon station in Wayne in August 2017, authorities said.
