NJ Ambulance Driver Arrested On Child Porn Charges Involving 13-Year-Olds, Sheriff Says
A newly-hired volunteer ambulance driver and landscaper from Passaic County is facing child porn charges out of Illinois involving two 13-year-old children, authorities said.
Victor E. Meza Valdez, 26, of Ringwood, was arrested on June 20, by detectives with the Passaic County Sheriff's Office on a warrant out of McHenry County, IL, Acting Passaic County Sheriff Gary Gairdina said.
During the search of Valdez's home, detectives seized several of his electronic devices, which will be transferred to the McHenry County State Attorney’s Office.

An out-of-state driver who was found passed out behind the wheel of an SUV in Palisades Park had dozens of Ecstasy pills for sale, authorities said.
Officers responding to another motorist's call found Pedro J. Santiago, 29, of Shenandoah, PA, out cold in an Acura MDX on Grand Avenue near the entrance to westbound Route 46 around 10 p.m. Sunday, said Capt. Anthony Espino, the officer in charge of the department.
The motor was running, he said.
The officers found 72 Ecstasy pills, a bag of cocaine and drug-packaging materials after waking him, Espino said.

Texas Fugitive, 23, Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Jersey City Resident
A Jersey City man being sought by authorities in Texas was charged in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old city resident, authorities said.
Phillip Wiggins, 23, was arrested at a home on Seymour Avenue in Newark on April 22 in connection with the March 31 shooting death of Damon Smith, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
Wiggins was wanted on a Fugitive from Justice warrant out of Texas, and was processed on that charge, Suarez said.
