Former Florham Park Exec Embezzled $325,000, Authorities Charge
A Florida man is accused of embezzling more than $325,000 from a Florham Park company while working as one of its executives, said authorities who charged him.
Hector Cardona, 49, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was the director of travel services for the Troy Corporation when he ran up a bill on the company credit card for personal expenses, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Florham Park Police Chief Joseph Orlando said.

Cassandra Colombrito Of Florham Park Leaves Behind Son, 8 Months
Cassandra “Cassie” Lynn Colombrito died unexpectedly on June 21. She was 26 years old.
Born in Morris Town, Cassandra lived in Florham Park nearly all her life. She was remembered in her obituary for her wit, intelligence and loyalty.
More than $1,800 had been raised as of Monday morning on a GoFundMe for her son, Vincent, 8 months.
"She was only 26 years old, and no one was prepared for this," the campaign founder Thomas Colombrito wrote.

Mahwah-Based DressBarn Closing All 650 Stores
DressBarn, the women's clothing chain, is closing all 650 of its stores after being in business for nearly 60 years.
Parent company Ascena Retail Group based in Mahwah said it plans to focus on its more profitable brands, such as Ann Taylor and Lane Bryant.
DressBarn CFO Steven Taylor said the chain "has not been operating at an acceptable level of profitability in today’s retail environment.”
