Zain Bhatti, of Flanders, was struck by Morris & Essex Line train 6635 just after 3:30 p.m., just west of the Madison station (Morris County) on Tuesday, Nov. 7, NJ Transit officials said. 21-Year-Old Man Killed In Route 80 Crash A 21-year-old Morris County man was killed in a Route 80 crash over the weekend, authorities said. Kevin Barradas of Dover was heading east in a Saab 93 when his car veered off the road to the right and hit a road marker in Parsippany on Friday evening, New Jersey State Police said. The car overturned and hit a tree, killing Barradas. The exit lane for Exit 45, which leads to Lake Hiawatha and Whippany, was closed for about two hours following the collision, State Police reported.

Pedestrian Killed, Driver Hurt In Serious Morris County Crash: Authorities A 77-year-old pedestrian was killed and the driver was hospitalized after a serious Thursday evening crash in Morris County, authorities said. Francisco Martinez was struck by a 2008 Infiniti on Whippany Road by Lindsley Drive in Morris Township around 5:50 p.m., MCPO Public Information Officer Meghan Knab told DailyVoice.com. Martinez, of Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Infiniti driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Knab said. The investigation was ongoing.
