NJ Mom Gets Life Without Parole For Death, Dismemberment Of Toddler
A 28-year-old mom from Cumberland County was sentenced to life in prison without parole in the death and dismemberment of her 23-month-old son, authorities said. Nakira M. Griner, of Bridgeton, was sentenced on Tuesday, Feb. 21, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Griner was previously found guilty on Jan 4 of first-degree murder, second-degree desecration of human remains, tampering with evidence, false public alarm and child endangerment. South Jersey Man Dismembered, Burned Woman's Body: Prosecutor
A Cumberland County man has been found guilty of killing a woman before dismembering and burning her body, authorities said. Dennis Parrish of Vineland was found guilty of murder and desecration of human remains on Monday Aug. 1 after a jury trial, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Evidence presented during the trial found that Parrish used blunt force trauma to kill Tonya Cook and then took her dismembered remains to a farm field in Cedarville, Lawrence Township, where they were burned. South Jersey Man, 23, Shot Dead Leaving Wawa
A 23-year-old man was fatally shot outside a South Jersey Wawa, authorities said. Luis Rivera of Pine Street in Vineland died as a result of gunshot wounds he sustained while leaving the Wawa on Park Avenue and Delsea Drive late Thursday, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
