2 Children Rescued From South Jersey House Fire Critical
Two children under the age of 10 were in critical condition after firefighters rescued them from a house fire in Gloucester County early Saturday morning. The children were trapped on the second floor of the West Washington Street blaze in Paulsboro, which broke out around 4:30 a.m., officials said. They were rushed to Kroger Hospital, where they were in critical condition as of Saturday morning. Oradell Driver, 17, Critical After Haworth Crash
A 17-year-old Oradell boy clung to life after his SUV slammed into a tree in Haworth Thursday night. Borough firefighters extricated the unconscious driver from his 2002 Toyota 4Runner following the 9:42 p.m. crash in front of the SUEZ water treatment plan on Lake Shore Drive, Detective Sgt. Justin Fox said. The Haworth Ambulance Corps took him to Hackensack University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Fox said. He was last reported in critical condition, the sergeant said. Several borough police officers, firefighters and both BLS and ALS responders were at the scene.

Clifton Garden Apartment Fire Kills Resident, 69
A 69-year-old man who was hospitalized in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest during a Wednesday morning garden apartment fire in Clifton had died, authorities said Thursday. David Bork was the only casualty of the two-alarm first-floor blaze at the Sytertown Apartments on Market Street, which broke out around 7:40 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M.
