Bogota Man Killed In Predawn House Fire
UPDATE: A senior resident was killed in an intense house fire before dawn Saturday in Bogota, authorities confirmed. CPR was in progress as the unresponsive 74-year-old military veteran was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, responders said. A pedestrian was struck and severely injured outside the Ridgewood Public Library late Monday afternoon. Police found the male victim bleeding from the head near the crosswalk following the crash on North Maple Avenue near the Village Shopping Center shortly before 4:30 p.m. Oct. 30.
