NJ Reps Aim To Keep AM Radio In Vehicles Many automakers are removing AM radios from their new electrical vehicles. Some New Jersey congressmen want to change that. Rep. Josh Gottenheimer (D-NJ), who represents most of Bergen County and parts of Passaic and Suffex County is the lead sponsor on a bill in the House of Represenatives that would require automakers to maintain AM radios in their new vehicles at no extra charge to the consumer. Honda Recalls 564K SUVs For Cold Weather Rust Risk Concern Hundreds of thousands of Honda SUVs are being recalled due to concerns that road salt could cause the frame of the vehicle to rust and unintentionally detach parts of the rear suspension. Officials announced this week that Honda is recalling nearly 564,000 CR-V models that were produced between 2007 and 2011 that were sold in states where salt and other de-icing chemicals are used to clear roads during winter storms.
