Officers dispatched to Colonial Avenue found the pair after an anonymous caller Sunday night reported two boys acting suspiciously, Police Chief Robert Kugler told Daily Voice.

A strong sent of marijuana came from a bag one of them was holding, he said.

Police filed juvenile complaints charging both with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute it. The boys then were released to their parents..

"With the quantity they had, it's obvious they were more likely not only going to be using it themselves but also to provide it to others," Kugler said, adding that an investigation was continuing.
