New Year’s Eve for a 16-year-old Garfield girl meant booze, pot and fooling around with a 30-year-old Elmwood Park man who’s now being held on $200,000 bail, charged with inappropriately touching the youngster, authorities said.

Carlos Zambrano, of Craig Court, who is married and is employed as a maintenance worker with a private company in Manhattan, is also charged with endangerment, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
Investigators from Molinelli’s office, along with Elmwood Park police, arrested Zambrano on Saturday after Garfield police took the initial report, the prosecutor said.
