The bags were taken from luggage that was missing when the owner arrived at JFK Airport from London via British Airways on June 6, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

The woman filed a report with the airline over the missing luggage, which was returned the next day by a recovery service — with the Chanel and Hermes handbags missing, Pentangelo said.

Investigating PAPD detectives contacted the seller after spotting them on eBay and arranged a meeting yesterday, he said.

They arrested the two employees, Lenny Hernandez 42, and 39-year-old Elepcia Barrientos, both of Jamaica on charges of grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
