Panelists scheduled for the discussion at the College of Saint Elizabeth Police Studies Institute include Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler, Union County Sheriff Joseph Cryan and Kareen Campbell, president of the National Organization of Black Women in Law Enforcement.
“Explore the current state of police and community relations as well as the progress made in policing the diverse neighborhoods of New Jersey” and “the role of clergy, educational and community groups in building positive community relationships,” the event notice says. “Students, law enforcement and community leaders welcome.”

The discussion is scheduled to run from 6-8 p.m. on the lower level of the Annunciation Center at the college, 2 Convent Road, Morristown.
The moderator will be former Morris County Prosecutor Robert A Bianchi, now a criminal defense, civil right and police practice attorney.
