Investigators were watching as passenger the 23-year-old passenger  got out of a white Jeep parked in an abandoned lot and entered a South Main Street deli, Lt. Robert Salerno said this afternoon.

After coming out, he began rolling a cigar packed with marijuana, Salerno said.

A second passenger “was seen by the detectives throwing a blunt wrapper on the sunroof,” he said.

The detectives approached the vehicle and found marijuana and paraphernalia in plain view, the lieutenant added.

All three occupants were arrested and charged with drug possession and distribution, among other offenses.

The 23-year-old passenger, Luis Segura-Sanchez, was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he was being held on $5,000 bail. The other two posted bail at headquarters and were released.
