Jersey City boy, 15, facing hearing for posting Facebook video of sex with girl, 13

BEYOND BERGEN: A 15-year-old Jersey City boy who authorities said posted a video to Facebook of him having sex with a 13-year-old girl was briefly taken into custody earlier today and served with a juvenile complaint.

He was released to his parents on a complaint alleging two counts of invasion of privacy after being taken into custody at Dickinson High School (photo, above), which both he and the girl attend, Hudson County Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Debra Simon said.

A hearing in the Family Division of state court in Jersey City was being scheduled. The proceeding will be private because the boy is a juvenile.

Jersey City police are the lead agency in the case, with assistance from the prosecutor’s office, Simon said.
