Elmwood Park police nab two 25-year-olds in separate arrests, seize 25 bags of heroin, one crack

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Two 25-year-old men had 25 bags of heroin and a bag of crack between them in separate arrests last night, Elmwood Park police said.

Justin Canning of Oak Beach, NY was charged with possession of 20 bags of heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia, after he was nabbed by officers on Locust Street around 5 p.m., Police Chief Michael Foligno said this morning.

Four hours later, they charged Joseph Borsina with possessing five bags of heroin and one of crack after officers took him into custody in the Kmart parking lot on Broadway.

Both men were released on court summonses.
