The first was on Monday, when officers stopped 20-year-old Elias Dieck on eastbound Route 46 and determined that he was intoxicated, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

On Tuesday, they arrested Patrick McLoughlin, 20, of Hillsdale, who they said was carrying 11 bags of heroin and one of cocaine when they stopped him on Broadway.

That same day, 34-year-old John Pernice of Lodi was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs after police stopped him on Boulevard at Elmwood Drive.

All were released on court summonses.
