Elmwood Park police bust NY pair on heroin, cocaine charges

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Elmwood Park police last night charged two New York state men with carrying 36 bags of heroin, a bag of cocaine, two hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia.

Officers stopped Timothy Bruen, 26, of Yonkers and Anthony Scarfone, 28, at 9 p.m. on East 53rd Street, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

Both were released on court summonses, he said.
