Oneil Reid, who turned 43 two weeks ago, was being held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault, both involving a minor, and child endangerment.
Elmwood Park police were contacted and alerted detectives who obtained an arrest warrant after interviewing the girl, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.
They found Reid, who is single, soon after and took him into custody, the prosecutor said.
An arraignment was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
