Saddle Brook firefighters rescued the 69-year-old Fair Lawn victim after the noontime incident at the northbound Bergen toll plaza, New Jersey State Police Trooper Gene Hong told Daily Voice.

"She got out for some reason and didn't realize the car was not in park," Hong said.

A Saddle Brook Ambulance crew treated the victim and took her to Hackensack University Medical Center with a broke leg, he said.
