Car smashes into Garden State Parkway toll plaza in Saddle Brook

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A driver was cut from his vehicle and taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after it struck the Bergen Toll Plaza on the Garden State Parkway in Saddle Brook tonight.

The driver was conscious and apparently hadn’t sustained any severe injuries in the 9 p.m. crash, which left the vehicle on its side, New Jersey State Police Trooper Christopher Kay told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He was extricated by Saddle Brook firefighters and EMS workers, Kay said.
