Pasquale James Collura, 90, Of Elmwood Park

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — Pasquale James Collura, 90, of Elmwood Park, died surrounded by his loving family July 13, 2016.

Born in Clifton, he lived in Garfield before settling in Elmwood Park 62 years ago. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran decorated with the World War II Victory Medal, the American Theater Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Meda. He was a member of the VFW.

He was a self-employed carpenter, very active in the East Paterson Democratic Club and was an avid gardener.

He was the husband of 68 years to Rose (Covello); father of Joseph Collura and wife Cyndi, Kenneth Collura and wife Kathy and Patrick Collura; grandfather of Kasey Collura, Joseph Collura, Kenneth Collura and wife Loren, Elizabeth Petty and husband Jason and Kayla Collura and fiancé Thomas Sucameli; and great-grandfather of Brooke and Cody.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Charlotte Minardi and Jay Sabatino.

Arrangements by the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield.
