Frank Buffone, 83, Former Saddle Brook Resident

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Frank Buffone, of Whiting and formerly of Saddle Brook, died Wednesday, March 23. He was 83. 

Before retiring, he was a self-employed residential window cleaner. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. 

He was the husband of Sebastiana “Bessie” (Corriere) Buffone; father of Phyllis Schwartz and her husband, Richard, of Lititz, Pa., Maria Careri of Rochelle Park, Louis Buffone and his wife, Maria, of Lebanon, Pa., and the late Catherine Buffone; grandfather of eight grandchildren and great-grandfather of 11; and brother of Mary Reda, the late Rosaria Fiorino, and John and Joseph Buffone.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Santangelo Funeral Home for a 9 a.m. chapel service. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
