ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — Elmwood Park resident Edward R. Barwick Sr., died Monday, May 2. He was 89.
Before retiring, Barwick owned T&M Ignition Services in Paterson.
Barwick was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II and was a former active member of VFW Post 5084 in Elmwood Park.
He is survived by his son, Edward Barwick Jr. and his wife Patrice; grandchildren Jamie, Eddie III and Alyson; and great-grandchildren Kaylee, Eddie and Lexi.
He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Caporale; and sisters Betty MacDonald and Nina Barwick.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home.
Interment will take place at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson.
