David was born in Nowy Targ, Poland on Aug. 26, 1984 to Jozef and Maria (Stanek) Budz.
On March 8, 1991 he came to the United States, first living in Garfield, moving to Elmwood Park in 2015.
He was a graduate of the Elmwood Park High School, Class of 2003. He earned his BA from William Paterson University and loved taking pictures of nature.
David had a talent for creating logos and other digital images and has been working for MT Displays LLC in Lyndhurst.
He is survived by his parents Jozef and Maria; sister Barbara and her husband Robert Mastej; and brother Marek and his wife Joanna Budz.
David is also survived by his paternal grandmother Anna Budz; and niece and nephews, Anna, Daniel, Paul, Kacper and Maksym.
A funeral Mass was held Saturday in Garfield with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
