Elmwood Park Soap Box Derby Rescheduled

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- The soap box derby sponsored by the Elmwood Park Centennial Committee is rescheduled from its original April 16 date.

A new date has yet to be announced. 

The race is open to anyone 7 and older. Check in is at 10 a.m. and the race begins at 11 a.m. at 16th Avenue. 

Participants must wear a helmut and appropriate clothing. Fee is $10. Awards will be presented to all divisions.
