Hillsdale Man, 50, Falls From Deck While Watching Eclipse A man was airlifted to the hospital after falling from a residential deck in Hillsdale while watching Monday's solar eclipse, authorities said. The 50-year-old victim fell 10 feet from a deck without a railing while watching the Monday afternoon eclipse on Knickerbocker Road off Riverdale Street, Hillsdale Police Chief Sean Smith said. CPR was conducted on the unresponsive victim after she tripped and hit her head on a stool while dancing at the Craftsman shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, April 6, Police Sgt. Eric Eleshewich said.
