UPDATE: A New Jersey tractor-trailer driver was hospitalized in a crash that killed two members of a volunteer ambulance corps from Rockland on the New York State Thruway near the state line before dawn Monday, authorities said. Moshe Herzog, 27, of Spring Valley and David Z. Schneebalg, 26, both member of William Paul Feist and Haverstraw Ambulance Corps reportedly were returning from spending Rosh Hashanah in Pennsylvania when the crash occurred around . Rutherford Stolen Car Chase Ends With Driver Captured By

Speeds reached 100 miles an hour in a stolen car chase that began Thursday in Fair Lawn and ended with New Jersey state troopers capturing the Paterson driver a half hour or so later in Rockland County, authorities said. Fair Lawn police were alerted after the 2013 Kia SUV -- reported stolen out of Rutherford -- was tracked via GPS to their area.
