RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Francesca Frattini, 67, of Ringwood, died Thursday, Nov. 17.
She was born Feb. 3, 1949, in Sant’ Arsencio, Italy, to Maria (Procaccio) and Arsencio Greco.
She came to America at the age of 5 and lived in Queens, N.Y. until she was married April 8, 1971. She and her husband raised their family in Ringwood. She actively was involved in her community throughout the 43 years she lived in Ringwood (i.e. Ringwood Woman’s Club, Ringwood Chamber of Commerce). She volunteered and supported the Red Ribbon Academy. She enjoyed sewing, interior design, reading, bowling and spending …

She was a member of the Elmwood Park Senior Citizens Club.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Dorothy P. Drake, of Hyde Park, died Wednesday, Nov. 16. Se was 97.
Born in 1919, in Rome, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Jessie and E. LeRoy Parry.
On June 28, 1947, she married Emerson R. Drake, who predeceased her in 2002.
She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1937 and William Smith College in 1941. Following graduation, she taught English and languages in the Rome School District. Kathleen Hefner, 59, Of Mahwah
MAHWAH, N.J. -- Kathleen Hefner, of Mahwah, died Wednesday, Nov. 16. She was 59.
She was a dedicated veterinarian and a graduate of Cornell University. She was the owner of the Animal Hospital of Saddle River. She also was the medical director of the Onyx Breezy Foundation.
She is survived by her companion, Peter Hubbard; children, Dana, Dara, Jeffrey and Jason Hubbard; and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Peyton Hubbard.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ann Moran; and parents, Harold and Hattie Hefner.

Ruth Evelyn Broas, 92, Of Hyde Park
HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Ruth Evelyn Broas, of Hyde Park, died Friday, Nov. 18. She was 92.
Born March 2, 1924, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Carroll Lake.
She attended Poughkeepsie schools. She enjoyed all music (especially country and western) and she was a member of the Hyde Park Senior Citizens Club. As a homemaker, her specialties were cooking and baking, and her grandchildren always looked forward to the birthday cakes she made for them each year.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Sayel Raji Zeidan, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, Nov. 15. He was 65.
A resident since 1965, he was born Dec. 23, 1950, in Salt, Jordan, the son of Raji and Najla Nesheiwat.
He received his associate's degree from Dutchess Community College, his bachelor's degree from Marist College and his master's degree from SUNY New Paltz.

NORTH HALEDON, N.J. — Joseph Frascogna, of North Haledon, died Nov. 11. He was 35. He was born Aug. 19, 1981.
He graduated from Manchester Regional High School in 1999 and followed in his father's footsteps, pursuing a career as a carpenter and woodworker.
