"They will draw different acts of kindness on paper squares and make a quilt out of them using [provided] materials and supplies," organizers said.

The Aug. 24 event begins at 2:30 p.m. and is open to children ages 3 and up.

Pre-registration is required.

Once registered, participants must arrive five minutes early to claim his or her reserved spot, organizers said.

Priority will be given to East Rutherford residents.

Previously, club members decorated and wrote notes that were left in books throughout the library, planted a garden, and created get well cards for Hackensack University Medical Center patients.
