Driver Of Van In Route 46 Rollover Crash Charged With DWI
The driver of a van that crashed on a Route 46 overpass on Wednesday was taken to the hospital in police custody, authorities said. Frankie Harrison, 63, was charged with DWI and careless driving after the 11:45 a.m. June 7 rollover on the westbound highway near the exit ramp for southbound Route 17, Hasbrouck Heights Police Lt. John Behr said. Borough firefighters were assisted by their Wood-Ridge colleagues in stabilizing the Econoline van and extricating Harrison, the lieutenant said. Passionate North Jersey agriculturalist and devoted mother Dawn Marie Christy Granja died in the loving embrace of her family at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on Sunday, June 4. She was 42. Born in Woodstock, VA, Dawn lived in Bridgewater for the last 40 years, her obituary says. She graduated from Bridgewater Raritan High School in 1999 before furthering her studies at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. ICE Detains Guatemalan National Jailed On Domestic Violence Charges Out Of PalPark
Federal authorities placed a detainer on a Guatemalan national living in Palisades Park after he was jailed on domestic violence charges. Cruz L. Baten, 32, was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief and sent to the Bergen County Jail on Tuesday, June 6, in connection with what Palisades Park police said was an alleged weekend incident on Highland Avenue.
