Palisades Park Laborer Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl, 7
PALISADES PARK, N.J. – A Guatemalan national living and working as a laborer in Palisades Park was charged with sexual assault after authorities said he inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl. Tomas Gonzalez-Teletor, 36, remained held in the Bergen County Jail on Friday following his arrest the day before. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a detainer on him – meaning he would remain in custody even if a local judge orders his release on the charges.
