Former Ridgewood Football Player Preston Stott Dies, 18: 'Determined, Always Cracking Us Up' The Ridgewood community is mourning the loss of former football player and student Preston Stott. According to his obituary, Preston died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 18 years old. He graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2023, and was a linebacker on the school's football team. Ridgewood Football Player Dawayne Inniss Dies Day After 38th Birthday: 'Gentle Giant' Dawayne Andre Inniss died on Tuesday, May 30, a day after his 38th birthday.  Inniss was a standout football player at Ridgewood High School, leading the Maroons to a state title in 2003 when he was a senior.
