Chain-reaction Ridgewood crash damages 3 parked vehicles

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: Three parked vehicles were damaged in Ridgewood this afternoon when a driver lost control of his Ford Explorer and it plowed into the rear end of a parked Jeep, which rammed a Honda sedan in front of it — which, in turn, hit another car.

No injuries were reported in the early Wednesday afternoon incident in front of the Wells Fargo Bank branch on North Walnut Street.

A significant fluid spill resulted from the crash.

Ridgewood FD personnel were assisted by members of the Ridgewood Streets Division in containing the mess.
