RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A Ridgewood athlete is going for a three-for on Saturday.
Anne McDonnell will be honoring three causes as she competes in Lake Placid’s Ironman Triathlon.
The mother, who started her own canine running business to train, had raised more than $10,200 on a GoFundMe page as of Wednesday morning.
The funds will be split between three charities:
- Warrior Canine Connection, for her father, a veteran.
- The GoodWill Foundation, for a 9-year-old boy with a rare and severe form or autism.
- FernDog Rescue Foundation: a rescue organization for a friend.
McDonnell hopes to raise $15,000 for the causes.
