Kevin Scoda, 24, of Edison, was killed in the crash on Route 72, the Stafford Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, July 23. Officers responded to the scene near milepost 24.5 at around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Joy Ride: Man On Test Drive Takes Car To Atlantic City Casino, Police Say A 47-year-old Ocean County man took a new car on a test drive and didn't return it, authorities said. The 2023 GMC Sierra was later discovered near the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, according to Stafford Township police. On Saturday, Feb. 18, at about 8:15 p.m., Stafford police received a call from Barlow GMC car dealership that a car had not been returned from a morning test drive. The customer was identified as Jason DeAngelo of Barnegat Township. Tuckerton Borough police briefly chased the vehicle on Route 539, police said. Convicted NJ Sex Offender Photographed Child In Costco Bathroom: Police A convicted sex offender has been arrested for photographing a child under a Costco bathroom stall, authorities said. On April 22, at 5:21 p.m., Stafford police responded to Costco Wholesale, at 219 Stafford Park Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person. Police met with a complainant who said his 7-year-old child had been photographed by the man. An on-scene investigation revealed that the suspect had been involved in previous incidents at Costco.
