Tree Falls On School Bus, 11 Taken To Hospital: Authorities Eleven people, 10 kids and a driver were taken to a hospital after a tree fell on a school bus in Tewksbury on Friday, March 21, authorities said. At 7:08 a.m., officers responded to Fairmont Road East and Addison Drive after a large tree fell on the front of the school bus, police said.  All 11 individuals on the bus were transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation, police said. Any injuries were minor, police said. Upon arrival at the hospital, school personnel were present to meet with parents and assist in the reunification process, police said.

3-Vehicle Crash With School Bus Sends Jeep Driver To Hospital In Wood-Ridge One person was hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash with a school bus carrying people with special needs on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9 in Bergen County, Daily Voice has learned. The school bus was carrying a group of both children and adults with special needs when it collided with a Jeep and one other vehicle on Hackensack Street at North Avenue in Wood-Ridge, sources said. The bus was evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sedan Flips SUV, Hits Empty School Bus In Mahwah No serious injuries were reported after a sedan struck an SUV -- sending it rolling -- and then careened into an empty school bus outside a Mahwah housing development early Wednesday. A Chevy Tahoe was headed north on Campgaw Road when it was struck by a BMW that had just pulled out of the Rio Vista development, responders said. The Tahoe rolled and landed on its wheels, they said. The BMW, meanwhile, continued into the intersection of Seminary Road, where it struck the bus. Police and EMS responded.
