NY Men Charged With Kidnapping, Stalking In Bergen County Home Invasion
Two Long Island men were arrested four months after breaking into a Washington Township home and robbing the residents at knifepoint, authorities said.
Law enforcement officials found Ward V. Arnone in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Louis F. Morano in Elmont, N.Y. on Friday, three days after issuing warrants for their arrests, Bergen Count Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The pair forced their way into the home and demanded valuable items from the residents on April 17, then fled the scene before police arrived, Musella said.

Passaic County sheriff’s officers who stopped a couple for having an obstructed view in their 16-year-old Chevy seized an array of weapons – among them, five knives, a BB gun, ammunition and an expandable metal baton, authorities said.
Officers Christopher Savitsky and Tomaz Cydzik smelled marijuana after stopping the red 2002 Chevrolet Malibu on northbound Route 23 in Wayne last weekend, Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik said.
The clothing of both Ruben Carraballo, 31, who was driving, and 23-year-old passenger Joanna Motl, who owns the car, also reeked of pot, the sheriff said.

Toys "R" Us, which filed for bankruptcy last fall, plans to close as many as 182 outlets, about one-fifth of its total number of stores across the country, according to a court filing late Tuesday.
A shift by customers to online shopping and increased competition led to the move, the Wayne, New Jersey-based company said.
